A few weeks ago, World at Work announced the launch of our Compensation Institute, a professional development framework that guides practitioners through every stage of a careerundefinedfrom technical mastery to strategic business proficiency, positioning practitioners for success as they advance into more senior management roles.

Please take a closer look at the Compensation Institute by visiting the webpage www.worldatwork.org/compensationinstitute.

Two new courses were also announced on Oct 9, both of which WorldatWork will offer in 2014. Business Acumen for Compensation Professionals which is available for pre-order, and International Financial Reporting Standards for Compensation Professional, which dates are still being developed for. Read the details of these courses to see if these might be right for you in 2014.

Historically, the last quarterly meeting of the year for RCA has been an end-of-the-year discussion panel, and this year is no exception. The panel will be made up of consultants and HR practitioners and this year’s focus will be around some things that worked in 2013 and how to overcome those things that haven’t. The discussion will be facilitated and based on questions from the membership.

In an effort to make the discussion more meaningful to you and your organization, it would be extremely helpful if members and guests could provide questions in advance for the panel. Please submit your questions by simply adding a comment below or via email at info@richcomp.org
