Submit Questions for the Fourth Quarterly Meeting end-of-the-year discussion panel!

September 10, 2013 10:13 AM | Anonymous member

Historically, the last quarterly meeting of the year for RCA has been an end-of-the-year discussion panel, and this year is no exception. The panel will be made up of consultants and HR practitioners and this year’s focus will be around some things that worked in 2013 and how to overcome those things that haven’t. The discussion will be facilitated and based on questions from the membership.

In an effort to make the discussion more meaningful to you and your organization, it would be extremely helpful if members and guests could provide questions in advance for the panel. Please submit your questions by simply adding a comment below or via email at info@richcomp.org

How have the PPACA requirements affected your total compensation philosophy and strategy and have you modified your total rewards offerings as a result?

    For Linda Altman:
There has been a lot of media attention on employers such as Walmart who have reduced the hours of part-time employees below 30 to avoid having to provide them the same healthcare package as full-time 40 hour employees. That was obviously not the intention of the Affordable Care Act. Do you envision the Act being amended to raise the threshold to 35 hours or at least something higher than 30?
