John Sarvay will present, An Old Philosophy on Engagement: Relationships, Recognition and Revitalization at Work for our first quarterly meeting.

John Sarvay is the owner and lead consultant at Floricane, a strategic planning and organizational change consultancy. The Floricane team has worked with more than 200 organizations throughout Virginia, such as VCU, Circuit City, and Luck Companies, since the business was founded in 2009.

Together we will explore how some old approaches to employee engagement – personal relationships, meaningful recognition and professional development geared toward healthy and sustainable professional growth – are key to business growth and success in the coming decade.

Learning Objectives:

  • To better understand what drives and motivates employees to contribute their best work.

  • To identify tools and processes that can help their companies build culture and drive employee engagement.

  • To evaluate their own company’s approach to engagement in new ways.
