Balance the Scales Through a Pay Equity Refresh
Equal pay for equal work has been the law since 1963. Why are we only now having a national conversation about pay transparency and pay equity? Your best employees and hiring prospects expect clear, equal treatment, and so do federal regulators. Do your payroll practices need a refresh?
Join WRVB labor and employment attorneys Leah Stiegler and Emily Kendall Chowhan for an interactive discussion on pay discrimination, company transparency, and how you can correct past mistakes through a pay equity audit.
The following topics will be addressed:
- Federal and state enforcement priorities
- Equal Pay Act, Title VII, Virginia Human Rights Act
- Auditing your wages for pay equity
- Defending against pay discrimination claims
