Speaker Bio
Lynne Prescott is a respected Human Resources professional with twenty years of experience in both privately held and Fortune 500 publicly traded organizations. She has served in leadership roles of increasing accountability ranging from compensation and benefits to international HR, and including change management, program and process improvement, performance management, and organizational wellness.
In her most recent role as the Head of HR for Olympus Insurance Company, she is leading the people function through a time of transformation for the company. As a leader her focus is on the customer; everything else flows from there.
Prior to Olympus, Lynne successfully contributed to the growth and cultural evolution of companies across several industries, including retail, accounting/insurance/financial services, professional services, health care, manufacturing, transportation and logistics. Some of the organizations she has supported are Cancer Treatment Centers of America®, WR Grace & Co., Office Depot, Inc., Ryder System, Inc., PetSmart and Owens Illinois.
Lynne earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Miami. She has a passion for continuous learning and development for herself and the teams with which she engages. She is a certified professional coach through the International Coach Federation and a Certified Change Management Professional through Prosci.
Her experiences also include managing the transition and assimilation of individuals coming to live and work in the US, Europe and Asia. She has traveled extensively for work and pleasure throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Lynne has spent time living and working abroad, integrating organizations and people post-merger and has volunteered to teach English to students in Europe.
She currently serves as a board member for the Total Rewards Association of South Florida and a coach for a non profit called the 10 Greatest Gifts Project.
Lynne brings a practical approach and real-life connection to mindfulness to her work and all she does. She resides in Delray Beach with her six-year-old rescue dog, Jabula, who sometimes accompanies her on bike rides through the neighborhood. Lynne is a lover of nature and enjoys cooking, reading, photography and music.
