RCA provides numerous learning opportunities for the HR community by offering WorldatWork certification courses and seminars at convenient locations in the Richmond area. Each certification course includes two full days of classroom instruction and meals; the exam session is scheduled separately at a testing facility at a date and time that suits the learner's schedule.  Accommodations are available for overnight stays.

For those unable to attend in the Richmond area, RCA maintains Reciprocal Agreements with three other local associations: Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association, Charlotte Area Compensation Council, and East Tennessee Compensation and Benefits Association.     Strategic Communication in Total Rewards

    Make Sure Employees 'Get It'

    This course provides an introduction to strategic communication, focusing on total rewards communication. It begins by establishing the purpose and value of strategic communication along with discussing how behaviors can be influenced by communications. In addition, an eight-step process is detailed providing guidance for creating an effective and efficient communication campaign. Case studies provide participants an opportunity to apply the eightstep process. Furthermore, specific communications related to each of the total rewards elements are highlighted, as are suggestions for communicating special situations, such as a merger or acquisition.
