Compensation Analyst/Senior Compensation Analyst – Dominion Energy

Dominion Energy is looking for an energetic, self-motivated mid-level and senior-level professional in Human Resources to join the Corporate Compensation team. This is an exciting time for the compensation team as we are evaluating our current programs and policies to strengthen the company’s competitiveness with the ever changing talent landscape. These positions will work closely with assigned field HR groups and the business units, in the development, implementation and administration of corporate and business unit compensation programs. The selected candidates will work with all levels of leadership, and interface with Dominion Energy employees, as required, to create new jobs or modify existing jobs and provide policy interpretation for compensation policies. Experience working on compensation programs is preferred.

Specific responsibilities will include designing and administering Dominion Energy compensation programs and policies, including annual merit, incentive and equity based pay programs, and supplemental and differential pay policies. Other duties include conducting market pricing studies, supporting assigned field HR and customer groups, serving as an compensation advisor to management and employees and fostering teamwork and open communications within our HR business communities.

Job qualifications include a minimum of 3 to 5 years HR experience (3 years for mid-level, 5 years for senior level), with compensation related experience preferred. Field HR experience (HR Generalist/HR Business Partner) is also preferred. Other qualifications include: breadth and depth of HR knowledge and experience, with specific experience in compensation; excellent interpersonal, consulting, and communications skills with all levels of the organization; ability to influence without authority; ability to gain consensus; strong research skills; full knowledge of information systems and relevant government regulations and excellent personal computer skills. A CCP, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP and/or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
