We are currently seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our growing team of rewards innovators. In this role you will you will get to consult with senior business leaders to make sound choices about pay. You will get to design and implement compensation programs, translating strategy and philosophy into results. Do you think collaboration is a virtue? Great! You also get to partner with other HR functions to champion the culture, bring in the most innovative people, and develop approaches to grow and keep them at CarMax.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze market data and make recommendations on pay strategy with business and HR leaders
• Partner with HR Directors to solve pay related issues including internal equity, incentive design and movement
• Execute on core processes like merit, bonus, and stock award administration
• Create reports and consult with business leaders on how pay works and how to maximize its effectiveness in their organizations
• Use data and metrics to determine program success and to drive improvements in all elements of compensation

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least three year’s work experience in a corporate setting, with experience in either HR, Compensation or analytics
    Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with a preference for business, economics, or other quantitative majors
    Prior experience in some form of internal or external consulting (preferred)
    Prior experience working in WorkDay or similar HRIS system (preferred)
