Titan Group is conducting a confidential retained search for a Director of Human Resources. Our client, a Richmond, VA-based manufacturing group, seeks an experienced HR Generalist with a minimum of 7 years comprehensive HR experience (at least 5 years at a senior generalist level with minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with recruiting, safety, benefits, EEO, compensation, labor relations, training and development) to manage and direct the company's core HR functions. Specific experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred along with knowledge of quality improvement processes (Lean, Kaizen, etc.). Experience with SAP or similar HRIS database useful. This is a non-union environment but candidate must be knowledgeable of union avoidance strategies. Travel approximately 20% in US and Canada; must possess valid US passport. Must be comfortable operating within well established company protocols. Related Bachelor's degree preferred along with SPHR/PHR certification. Excellent communication including presentation skills required. This position reports to VP of HR. Compensation $70k minimum. SR COMPENSATION ANALYST – CIRCUIT CITY

As a Sr. Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for the development, administration and communication of base and variable compensation programs for assigned client groups at the corporate support center and in the field organization. Your role will also include monitoring for compliance with FLSA, Department of Labor and all federal, state and local regulations. Your essential duties and responsibilities will include evaluating and analyzing pay data to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity of position salary range assignments. You will provide analysis, guidance, recommendations and core compensation program support to an assigned client group. In addition, you will provide assistance with incentive plan design and building function administrative capability. Other responsibilities include managing the year-end merit planning and incentive calculation processes, assisting with the company recognition program, and networking with peers to maintain external competitiveness and to keep abreast of compensation trends.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following preferred education and/or experience:
- 4-6 years core compensation and incentive plan design/administration (required)
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field (preferred)
- Strong MS Excel skills (required)
- HRIS experience (required)
- Experience in a retail organization (preferred)
